Contracts Manager - Steel Fabrication

TS Recruitment are working with a specialist contractor looking to recruit a Senior Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of architectural steelwork projects nationwide
Benefits
- Salary circa £70-80,000 per annum
- Car allowance circa £5,000 per annum
- 30 days annual leave (22 days plus bank holidays)
- Early finish on a Friday (2.30pm)
- Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm
- Pension after qualifying period
Responsibilities
- Attend project handover meetings and manage delivery from start to finish
- Write and manage site programmes and coordinate design and manufacturing
- Commercially manage schemes ensuring they are delivered within budget
- Manage the supply chain including procurement, subcontractors, labour and plant
- Oversee quality control ensuring schemes are complete to the right standard
- Ensure H&S compliance across all sites
- Manage Contracts Managers and Site Management team
Company
- Specialist commercial interior fit-out contractor
- Projects ranging from £25k-£2m
- Work includes schools, offices, and local authority projects
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of architectural steelwork
- Client focussed and commercially aware
- Ability to read technical specifications and offer value engineering
- Full UK driving licence
