About the CompanyOur client is a well-established and respected engineering business, providing precision fabrication, mechanical services, and bespoke metalwork solutions to clients across the aerospace, automotive, marine, medical, and food processing sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, they are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team.
Key ResponsibilitiesSkills & Experience Required
Manage day-to-day site operations for mechanical, ductwork, and fabrication projects.
Oversee all site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Coordinate and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Act as the primary point of contact on-site for clients, consultants, and company management.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct daily site briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.
Monitor progress against programme, addressing issues and implementing corrective actions where required.
Manage site documentation, including RAMS, site diaries, permits, and reports.
Support the Project Manager with scheduling, resource allocation, and logistics.
Ensure quality control and snagging processes are completed efficiently.
Desirable Qualifications
Proven site management experience within the mechanical services, fabrication, or construction sector.
Strong understanding of ductwork, HVAC, or mechanical installation projects.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Hands-on, proactive approach with a focus on problem-solving.
Good IT skills, including MS Office.
Full UK driving licence.
