Overview
We are currently seeking an M&E Quantity Surveyor in Warrington to join a highly established building services contractor, taking ownership of commercial performance across live M&E projects.
This is a permanent role for a commercially minded QS who enjoys staying close to delivery, keeping change controlled, and producing clear, accurate reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Our client is a well-established UK building services contractor with in-house capability delivering mechanical and electrical building services across a broad range of sectors.
They operate nationally with regional offices and deliver projects ranging from mid-sized works through to major schemes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing commercial delivery across M&E packages from award through to final account
- Producing applications for payment, valuations, and cost reports
- Administering subcontract procurement and supporting supplier management
- Managing variations and change control, including pricing, substantiation and agreement
- Supporting CVRs, forecasting, and monthly reporting with clear commentary
- Working closely with the project team to monitor progress, risk, and programme impacts
- Assisting with commercial input at tender stage and during project handover
- Maintaining strong, structured document control across contracts, notices, and records
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within M&E / building services
- Strong understanding of subcontract administration and commercial control on live projects
- Confidence managing variations, applications, and final accounts
- Familiarity with JCT and/or NEC contract environments
- Strong Excel and reporting ability with a tidy, methodical approach
- Clear communicator who can work effectively with project managers, site teams, and clients
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
