Multi-Skilled Operative - External Joinery & Fencing
Location: Liverpool
Rate: £19ph
Duration: Initial 8-Week Contract (Potential Extension/Temp to Perm)
Hours: Monday to FridayWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to join a social housing maintenance contractor carrying out external joinery and fencing works on occupied properties.
Duties Include:
- Completing various external joinery and fencing works
- Installing and repairing fencing
- Manufacturing and fitting timber gates
- Fitting and repairing store doors
- Door and window maintenance and repairs
- Gutter repairs and maintenance
- Installing and replacing concrete fence panels
- General external property repairs and maintenance
- Liaising professionally with tenants and providing excellent customer service while working in occupied homes
You will typically be working on a single street of around 20 properties, allowing you to remain on the same site for most of the day.
Requirements:What We Offer:
- NVQ in Joinery or a relevant trade (essential)
- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- Previous experience working within social housing
- Ability to deal professionally with tenants in occupied properties
- Own transport to travel to site each day
- Own tools
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Monday to Friday working hours
- Immediate start available
- Initial 8-week contract
- Potential for an extension or permanent position depending on workload and performance
