Job description

Duct Fitter & Duct Mate Required - Sheffield - Immediate Start

Location: Sheffield
Start Date: Monday 8th June 2026
Duration: Ongoing Work Available

We are currently recruiting experienced Duct Fitters and Duct Mates for a long-term commercial project in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with competitive rates and consistent hours for reliable and skilled operatives.

Positions Available

Duct Fitter

• Pay Rate: £28.00 per hour

Duct Mate

• Pay Rate: £16.90 per hour

Scope of Works

The successful candidates will be involved in the installation of galvanized ductwork systems on a large commercial project. Applicants must have previous experience working with ductwork installations and be confident working as part of a professional site team.

Due to the nature of the project, operatives must be comfortable and experienced working at heights of up to 20 metres.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 07:30am - 4:00pm
• 8-hour paid working day
• 30-minute lunch break

Requirements

Duct Fitters must hold:

• Blue Duct Installation CSCS Card
• Valid IPAF Certificate or IPAF Card
• Full PPE
• Own Tools
• Previous ductwork installation experience

Duct Mates must hold:

• Green CSCS Card
• Vaid IPAF Certificate or IPAF Card
• Full PPE
• Previous site experience preferred
