Job Title: Ductwork Fitter & Mate (Duct Pair)
Location: East india Docks Telehouse
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 5 month
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour daysRates:
- Fitter: £30.00 per hour
- Mate: £16.25 per hour
Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Ductwork Fitter and Mate (Duct Pair) for a 5 months work , involving the installation of galvanised (tin) ductwork. This is a short-term contract with no extension, so reliability and the ability to hit the ground running are essential.Key Responsibilities:
- Install galvanised (tin) ductwork systems to specification
- Read and work from technical drawings
- Maintain safe and tidy working practices
- Work effectively as a team to complete the project on time
Requirements
Fitter:
- Valid Blue CSCS Card
- IPAF
- Own tools
- Full PPE
- Proven experience with rectangular and spiral galvanised ducting
- Ability to lead and work efficiently with a mate
Mate:
- Valid Green CSCS Card
- Basic hand tools (preferred)
- Full PPE
- Previous experience assisting with ductwork (preferred)
