Job Title: Ductwork Fitters & Mates (Duct Pairs)
Location: London
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 8 Weeks
Hours: Monday to Saturday, 60-hour weeks
Overtime: Time and a half (1.5x) after 40 hoursRates:
- Fitter: £31.00 per hour
- Mate: £18.00 per hour
Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Ductwork Fitters and Mates (Duct Pairs) for a commercial project in London, involving the installation of galvanised (tin) ductwork. This is an 8-week contract with a demanding schedule, so a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to hit the ground running are essential.Key Responsibilities:
- Install galvanised (tin) ductwork systems to specification
- Read and work from technical drawings
- Maintain safe and tidy working practices
- Work effectively as a team to complete the project on time
Requirements
Fitter:
- Valid Blue CSCS Card
- Own tools
- Full PPE
- Proven experience with rectangular and spiral galvanised ducting
- Ability to lead and work efficiently with a mate
Mate:
- Valid Green CSCS Card
- Basic hand tools (preferred)
- Full PPE
- Previous experience assisting with ductwork (preferred)
