Job description
Are you a Building Fabric Engineer looking for an exciting new role in the Bristol area?
If you hold Carpentry or Plumbing qualifications and have additional trade skills such as painting, patch plastering or tiling, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
You will be joining one of the region's leading Facilities Services providers, working as part of a team of Building Fabric Engineers covering planned and reactive maintenance, as well as small and minor works across commercial buildings including offices, leisure centres and schools.
Key Responsibilities
Planned and Reactive Maintenance
· Fixing leaks, doors, and locks
· Making good areas following repairs
Small and Minor Works Projects
· Refurbishments to rooms and offices
· Replacing doors, locks, sinks, basins, and toilets (like-for-like)
· Floor upgrades
Candidate Requirements
· Qualified tradesperson with City & Guilds or equivalent in Carpentry or Plumbing
· Competent in multiple trades or DIY-type tasks
· Previous multi-skilled trades experience is essential, as no training will be provided initially
· Open to time-served tradespeople or general builders looking to move into the maintenance sector
Package & Benefits
· Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum
