Construction Jobs ⫽ Roofer
Roofer jobs involve installing, maintaining, and repairing roofs using tiles, slates, metal, or flat roofing systems. Tasks include measuring, cutting, and fitting materials, working at height, and ensuring roofs are weatherproof. Roofers often work outdoors in changing conditions and must be comfortable with ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment. NVQs or apprenticeships are common entry routes, though experience can be gained through general labouring roles. Roofer jobs are well suited to those with good physical fitness, balance, and a practical mindset.
