Yard Operative - Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Location: Leeds
Start Date: Monday 24th August
Job Type: Temporary / Ongoing
Pay: Competitive, depending on experienceWe are currently looking for an experienced Yard Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join our team in Leeds, starting Monday 24th August.
This is a hands-on role working within a busy yard environment, so we're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements
- Loading and unloading materials safely using a counterbalance forklift
- General yard duties and keeping the yard clean and organised
- Moving and storing materials safely
- Loading vehicles and preparing materials for delivery
- Manual handling and general labouring duties
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Supporting the wider yard and site team as required
What We Offer
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence - essential
- Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse or construction environment
- Good level of physical fitness
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Scaffolding labouring experience would be highly advantageous
- Construction/site experience is preferred
- Immediate start available - Monday 24th August
- Ongoing work for the right candidate
