Electrical Supervisor
Location: Rugby, Northampton, Bedford and nationwide travel required
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Salary: Temp £29 per hour with an additional £290 a week, Perm £60,000 - £73,000+ benefitsAn established electrical contracting business operating within the commercial, industrial, and retail sectors is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join its growing team. This is a hands-on supervisory role involving nationwide projects, team leadership, installation work, testing, maintenance, and fault finding.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and support small teams of electricians and subcontractors on commercial and industrial projects.
· Carry out electrical installation work where required.
· Install, maintain, test, and inspect electrical systems.
· Conduct EICRs and complete associated remedial works.
· Perform planned and reactive maintenance.
· Diagnose and resolve electrical faults.
· Complete reports, certificates, and documentation using digital devices.
· Submit job reports and weekly timesheets.
· Travel nationwide as required, with accommodation provided when applicable.
· Participate in a rotating 24-hour emergency call-out service.
Working Hours:
· Full-time, Monday to Friday.
· Typical working week of 48 hours.
· Emergency call-out rota approximately 1 week in every 4-6 weeks.
Essential Requirements:
· City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
· 18th Edition BS7671 qualification.
· ECS Gold Card.
· City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection.
· SSSTS
· Minimum 5 years' electrical industry experience.
