Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker Improver
Location: Waterlooville
Salary: £12.50 per hour

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Sheet Metal Worker Improver to join our growing team in Waterlooville. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some basic experience or training in sheet metal work who is looking to develop their skills further within a supportive and hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled sheet metal workers in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal components
- Operate basic machinery and hand tools under supervision
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (training provided where necessary)
- Measure, cut, and shape metal materials to required dimensions
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations
- Support with material handling, preparation, and general workshop duties
- Carry out basic quality checks on completed work
Requirements
- Some prior experience or training in sheet metal work, fabrication, or a similar trade (preferred but not essential)
- Willingness to learn and develop practical skills
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop environment
- Reliable and punctual
