Overview
Our client, a leading facades contractor, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. Renowned for their strong work culture and team-first approach, this is a great opportunity for experienced candidates to work on prestigious, large-scale façade projects.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for façade projects.
- Monitor project expenditures and implement cost-control measures to maintain budgets.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and gather data for reporting.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to achieve financial objectives.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, and agreements for procurement.
- Analyse and report on financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all project-related financial transactions.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the facades or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles and best practices.
- Proficiency with quantity surveying software and tools.
- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management are desirable.
- MCIOB accreditation is preferred.
