Working Pattern: 4 days office / 1 day WFH
A growing civil, structural and geotechnical engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their London team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants more project ownership, close collaboration with senior staff, and a clear pathway for progression.

The Opportunity
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will take a hands‑on role leading projects, coordinating with clients, and supporting junior engineers and graduates. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of civil engineering schemes and play a key part in delivering high‑quality technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing civil engineering projects with full client and third‑party liaison
- Coordinating with engineers, technicians and senior team members
- Managing risk within your area of responsibility (H&S and commercial)
- Taking technical ownership of drawings, calculations, reports and design documents
- Using design software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Causeway Flow, KeySign and Lighting Reality
- Preparing or reviewing project briefs, fee proposals and resource plans
- Supporting development of project cost estimates and identifying additional work opportunities
- Analysing technical problems and developing practical engineering solutions
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering (MEng preferred)
- Chartered or near‑chartered status with ICE
