About the Role
We are currently recruiting 2 experienced Residential Sprinkler Fitters to join a well-established and growing client operating across new-build residential sites throughout the Central Belt of Scotland, primarily between East Glasgow and Edinburgh.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong experience in fitting CPVC sprinkler systems on residential developments. The role offers immediate starts and the option to either begin on a temp-to-perm basis or transition directly to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of residential sprinkler systems (primarily plastic CPVC pipework)
- Working on new-build housing and apartment sites
- Following all safety protocols and installation procedures as per regulatory standards
- Liaising with site supervisors and other trades on project timelines
- Ensuring high-quality finishes and compliance with fire safety regulations
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience fitting sprinkler systems, particularly in residential settings
- Valid CSCS card
- Familiarity with CPVC pipework systems
- Full PPE including standard Hi-Vis clothing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Must be based in or able to commute to the East Glasgow-Edinburgh corridor
What's on Offer
For Permanent Hires:
- Competitive hourly rate (£17-£18 ph based on experience)
- Company van, mobile phone, and fuel card provided
- Long-term job security with an established and supportive employer
- Opportunities for overtime and career development
For Temp-to-Perm Candidates (Subcontractors):
- Immediate start under subcontract arrangement
- Use of own vehicle required during initial 3-month temp period
- Opportunity to transition to full-time permanent role with benefits
- No interest in long-term subcontract-only arrangements - this is a stepping stone to perm hire
Important Notes
- This vacancy is not suitable for individuals looking for ongoing subcontract-only work
- Ideal for tradespeople looking to settle into a secure, full-time position with an experienced and stable firm
- The work will primarily take place throughout the Central Belt, with jobs across various new residential development sites
