Job Advert - Plumber's Mates / Plumber's Improvers / Newly Qualified Engineers
Location: AWE AldermastonDuration: 6 months+
Working Hours: 07:30 - 16:30We are currently recruiting Plumber's Mates, Plumber's Improvers and Newly Qualified Engineers to join a long-term commercial project at AWE Aldermaston. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale installation involving HDPE fusion welding and Mapress copper systems. Candidates must be reliable, committed and able to work as part of a professional site team.
Rates
- Plumber Improvers: £19.00 per hour
- Plumber Mates: £16.50 per hour
Scope of Work
- Standard commercial plumbing installation
- HDPE fusion welding
- Mapress copper pipework
- Assisting qualified plumbers and working independently where required
Requirements
- CSCS Green Card (minimum)
- At least 2+ years' experience as a Plumber's Mate/Improver
- Ability to commute to AWE Aldermaston daily
- PPE essential for mates / PPE + tools required for improvers
- Must be willing to undergo DBS and security clearance checks
Additional Information
- Site access requires a 15-minute walk from the main car park
- Please ensure candidates can demonstrate relevant hands-on plumbing experience and a solid understanding of commercial installation work
