Plasterer - Social Housing
Location: Leicester, Derby and Nottingham
Salary: £22.37 via Umbrella
Job Type: Temp to PermWe are looking for an experienced and reliable Plasterer to join our growing team, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance within the social housing sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has a strong customer focus, and enjoys working in occupied and void properties.
Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements
- Carry out all aspects of plastering, including skimming, patch repairs, rendering, and making good.
- Complete reactive and planned maintenance works in social housing properties.
- Prepare surfaces and ensure all work is finished to a high standard.
- Work efficiently while maintaining excellent health and safety practices.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Ensure work areas are left clean and tidy upon completion.
Desirable
- Proven experience as a plasterer, ideally within social housing or property maintenance.
- Ability to carry out a range of plastering repairs independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
