Job Opportunity: Pipefitter x2 & Mate x1 - Larkhill
Location: Larkhill, Wiltshire, SP3 4DS
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 1-3 months
Working Hours: 07:30 - 16:00, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £25 per hourAbout the Project:
We are currently recruiting for 2 x experienced Pipefitters and 1 x Mate to join an active project in Larkhill. This is a temporary contract expected to run for 1 to 3 months, with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
The works involve domestic copper press fit systems and threaded steel pipework for heating systems. Please note, SC Clearance is not required for this role.
Role Responsibilities:
Pipefitters:
Installation of copper (press fit) and threaded steel pipework
Working from drawings and plans to accurately install systems
Collaborating closely with site supervisors and other trades
Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
Mate:
Assisting pipefitters with material handling and preparation
Supporting installation tasks as directed
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
General labouring duties as required
Requirements:
Valid Blue or Gold CSCS Card
Previous experience with copper press fit and steel pipework (Pipefitters)
Experience on construction or M&E projects (Mate)
IPAF certification is beneficial as some work will be at height
Own basic hand tools and PPE
