Job description
We're looking for a skilled Pipefitter to join our growing team, delivering high-quality mechanical installations across a variety of secured projects throughout the South and Southwest of the UK.
If you have a strong background in mechanical services, particularly within schools, healthcare facilities, and plantrooms and take pride in delivering precise, safe, and reliable work, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
· Install and assemble piping systems according to technical drawings and specifications
· Carry out maintenance and repairs to existing mechanical systems
· Use power and hand tools effectively to cut, shape, and connect piping
· Perform welding and soldering tasks to ensure secure pipe joints
· Work collaboratively with other trades to ensure efficient project delivery
· Follow all on-site safety standards and regulations
What We're Looking For:
· Proven experience in mechanical installations and pipefitting
· Skilled in the use of relevant tools and techniques, including welding and soldering
· Good understanding of mechanical systems in commercial and public sector settings
· Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations
· NVQ in Plumbing or equivalent
· Valid CSCS card
· SSSTS and First Aid qualifications are a bonus, but not essential
