Location: Croydon, Greater London
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Ongoing
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Rate: From £17 per hour (depending on experience)

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience in mechanical maintenance and steel work with a reliable, long-term role.
Role Overview:
As a Mechanical Improver, your daily duties will include:
- Assisting with general steel maintenance tasks
- Measuring and marking steel components accurately
- Cutting and prepping steel to required specifications
- Supporting experienced tradespeople on-site
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in mechanical or steel work is highly desirable
- A good eye for detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- No formal cards or tickets required
- Must have own standard PPE (Hi-Vis, safety boots, gloves, etc.)
