Job description
Are you a Maintenance Electrician looking for a new mobile role based around Bristol?
A well-established regional FM company has recently secured a new contract within the commercial sector and is seeking several electrically biased mobile maintenance engineers to work across commercial properties in and around the Bristol area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced team and work on a portfolio of properties across the region. You will be responsible for all aspects of electrical work on both a planned and reactive basis.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems
· Complete statutory compliance tests, including emergency lighting, fire alarm testing, water temperature, and Legionella checks
· Undertake reactive and emergency breakdown tasks, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
· Participate in a call-out rota to provide full out-of-hours support to clients
· Oversee visiting subcontractors, ensuring high standards of work and compliance with Health & Safety
· Assist flexibly across multiple properties within the portfolio
· Complete all duties safely, diligently, and in accordance with company policies and procedures
· Ensure all work-related documentation is accurate and submitted on time
Candidate Requirements
· Fully qualified Electrician
· Knowledge of 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
· Testing and Inspection experience advantageous
· Previous experience in commercial environments
· HVAC knowledge desirable
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Full UK driving licence
