JOB OPPORTUNITY: LAGGER (CSCS Blue Trade Card) - AWE Aldermaston

Hours: 8-hour days
Rate: £25 per hour (no accommodation, no digs)

AWE Aldermaston - This is a secure site, playing a critical role in the UK's defence and infrastructure. Applicants should either hold SC (Security Clearance) or be willing to work under escort arrangements.
Role Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Lagger with a CSCS Blue Trade Card to join a reputable project at the AWE Aldermaston site. The position is available for an immediate start, offering ongoing work for the right individual.
This is a hands-on insulation role with a strong focus on high-quality workmanship. Your main responsibilities will involve:
- Applying foil-faced insulation to mechanical services.
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting insulation jackets.
- Ensuring all work complies with site safety and installation standards.
- Working efficiently as part of a small, professional team within a secure facility.
Candidate Requirements:
- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card (essential).
- Experience in mechanical lagging, particularly foil face and pre-formed jackets.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings (advantageous).
- Standard PPE required - HiVis, safety boots, gloves, and hard hat.
- Must be locally based (this role does not include digs or travel allowance).
- SC clearance preferred, but not mandatory - non-cleared workers will be escorted on-site.
