We are a growing M&E contracting company delivering high-quality building services projects across commercial, industrial, and energy sectors. We are looking for a motivated Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Warrington team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an electrical background looking to start or advance their career in M&E design.The Role:
As a Junior Electrical Design Engineer, you will support our design team in producing accurate and compliant electrical designs for a variety of building services projects. You will be involved in all stages of design, from initial concept to detailed technical drawings, and will have the opportunity to grow within the company.Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in developing and producing electrical designs and drawings for M&E building services projects.
- Coordinating designs with mechanical, civil, and other engineering disciplines.
- Preparing technical specifications, schematics, and schedules under supervision.
- Supporting project teams to ensure designs are practical, compliant, and cost-effective.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers to gather requirements and information.
- Ensuring designs meet industry standards, regulations, and company quality procedures.
Requirements:
- Electrical background with some experience or education in building services design (commercial or industrial).
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamworking abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ambitious and keen to develop a career in M&E design engineering.
