Job description
Are you an Electrician or Electrical Engineer looking to come off the tools and move into electrical design?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a great company in Sutton Coldfield that is willing to invest in your development and provide full training to help you build a long-term career in electrical design.
You don't need to be an experienced designer. We are looking for someone with a strong electrical background who is keen to learn and develop.
The Role
As a Junior Electrical Design Engineer, you will work alongside an experienced design team and receive full training and support.
The company will pay for relevant electrical design courses and qualifications, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills and progress within the business.
This role would be ideal for someone who has been working on the tools as an electrician and is now looking for the next step in their career.
Essential
- Electrical background is essential
- Qualified Electrician or relevant electrical qualifications
- Experience working as an Electrician, Electrical Engineer or in a similar electrical role
- Ideally looking to move away from site-based work and into design
- Keen to learn and develop
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Previous design experience is not essential - full training will be provided
