HVAC Project Manager
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per year
Location: Potter's Bar/London & surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-time
Working Location: Site-based/OfficeDue to continued expansion, CCPHVAC Ltd are looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join their growing team.
This is a varied role managing HVAC projects across London and the surrounding areas, from smaller works through to projects valued at around £1 million.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing projects from initial drawings and planning through to completion. This will include coordinating engineers and subcontractors, ordering materials, managing costs and budgets, attending site meetings and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
You will typically manage around 8 ongoing projects at any one time, with project durations varying from a single day through to two years.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage HVAC projects from initial drawings through to completion
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors and site teams
- Manage project budgets, costs and materials
- Attend site and client meetings across London and surrounding areas
- Read and understand technical drawings
- Compile RAMS and O&M manuals
- Liaise directly with clients and maintain strong working relationships
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Manage multiple projects at different stages simultaneously
About You
- Minimum 2 years' Project Management experience within the UK
- Previous experience managing HVAC projects
- Experience managing projects ranging from smaller works up to approximately £1 million
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems
- AC, ventilation and ductwork knowledge would be highly beneficial
- Comfortable managing engineers and subcontractors
- Able to read and understand technical drawings
- Good understanding of budgets and cost control
- Experience compiling RAMS and O&M manuals
- AutoCAD experience would be an advantage
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects at once
Location
The role will involve working on sites across London and the surrounding areas, with the office based in Potter's Bar.
Ideally, candidates will be located within around 30 minutes of the Potter's Bar office. There will be a minimum of one team meeting per week at the office, with additional office time required for paperwork and project administration.
