A respected Hampshire based external envelope contractor has secured a number of key projects in the West country and now seeking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager. Role; You will need to have a strong knowledge of PVCu, timber and aluminium windows and doors, curtain walling and associated commercial glazing works. Have the ability to read detailed CAD drawings. Manage projects from mobilisation through installation and completion. Making sure and ensuring works are planned, resourced and delivered effectively. Coordinate installation teams and labour requirements. Programming of works. Oversee health & safety requirements and site procedures. Keeping on top of quality and snagging activities. Provide practical and commercial input to site and project issues. Lead and support installation teams of up to staff 4-6 live projects. Strong verbal and written communication with the client and all end users to resolve possible issues and maintain progress. Keeping projects within specified budgets and build programs. Chair weekly progress meetings with full reporting procedures. On Offer; A competitive salary package including car allowance, pension scheme and discretionary bonus.
