- Keep your own GAS SAFE! (if you are registered independently)
- Basic salary is £42,000 - £44,000 (dependent on experience) every task has a Schedule of Rates assigned to it so there is a high earning potential. On average an engineer is earning around £75,000 per year (SORs will be discussed directly by client at interview)
- 9 hour day - 8.00 am - 5.30 pm with a 30 min lunch break (guaranteed 9 hours' worth of work per day)
- There is also call out which is paid at an enhanced rate (discussed directly by S&B)
- 33 Days Annual Leave including bank holidays
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Gas Service and Repair Engineer, you'll be key to ensuring our customers' safety and satisfaction with your high standards of service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out day-to-day repairs with efficiency and skill
- Diagnosing and resolving faults quickly and effectively
- Completing annual servicing visits to keep systems in top shape
- Striving to meet first-time fix targets
- Maintaining the highest quality standards on every job
- Ensuring customer satisfaction is always a top priority
- Communicating any delays promptly with both the contact centre and the customer
Who We're Looking For:
We need someone who is experienced, reliable, and passionate about providing top-notch service. The ideal candidate will have:
- Valid ACS & other relevant gas qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
- A full UK driving licence (with less than 6 points)
- Experience in Social Housing (not essential, but beneficial)
- A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- The ability to engage and work well with a diverse range of customers
