Site Operative Solutions are recruiting!
We are currently looking for 2 Fire Alarm Engineers to start on a project in January 2026.
Key Responsibilities The core tasks are crucial for understanding the day-to-day role. You will typically find responsibilities such as:
- Performing routine maintenance: Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing on a range of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
- Fault finding and repairs: Diagnosing complex faults and carrying out efficient repairs to minimise system downtime.
- Installation and commissioning: Installing, testing, and commissioning new fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and approved drawings.
- Ensuring compliance: Adhering strictly to British Standards and completing all necessary documentation and service reports accurately.
- Providing technical support: Offering professional, customer-focused service on site and potentially mentoring junior engineers.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- ECS card (essential)
- IPAF 3a + 3b (essential)
- Previous experience installing Fire alarm systems
Works will begin in early January 2026, working 40 hours per week (8 hours Monday - Friday).
Day rate: £250 per day
