Job description
Platinum Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join a team carrying out solar and photovoltaic (PV) works across Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working on solar installations and be confident undertaking solar and PV testing, Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), and minor remedial electrical works.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced electrician looking for ongoing work, with a competitive hourly rate and the potential to increase earnings through overtime and on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out testing and inspection of solar and photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
- Undertake minor remedial electrical works as required.
- Identify and resolve electrical faults safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work is completed to the required safety standards and regulations.
- Travel to sites across Glasgow and the surrounding areas using a company-provided van.
- Maintain professional standards when working on-site and communicating with clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on solar and PV systems.
- Relevant electrical qualifications and experience.
- Valid CSCS card is essential.
- Full, current UK driving licence is required.
- Ability to work independently and manage site-based tasks.
- A strong commitment to health and safety.
Pay & Benefits
