ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a well-established specialist Electrical Contractor based in London. They deliver a broad range of electrical services across the South East, supporting commercial clients with high-quality installations and refurbishments.ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join a busy commercial fit-out project in Canary Wharf. This is a 4-month contract running through to Christmas, offering £250 per day for 8-hour shifts.Your key responsibilities will include:
- Installing new lighting systems in commercial office spaces, covering both general and task lighting.
- Carrying out office fit-out works, including first and second fix: wiring, socket installation, lighting controls, and final terminations.
- Installing containment systems (metal tray, basket, conduit, trunking, and plastic) in line with drawings and site requirements.
- Conducting strip-out works, ensuring safe isolation and removal of old wiring, fittings, and electrical components during refurbishments.
Location: Canary Wharf, London - within easy reach of Camden, Woolwich, Dagenham, Barking, Woodford, Tottenham, Tower Bridge, and Hackney.
REQUIREMENTS
- ECS Gold Card (Electrician level).
- Demonstrable experience in office fit-outs and commercial installations, ideally in fast-paced environments.
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and ability to work confidently from drawings.
- Reliable, punctual, and based within a commutable distance of Canary Wharf.
- Own tools and PPE, ready to start immediately.
- Right to work in the UK.
