We are working with an established and highly successful M&E contractor who are looking to strengthen their estimating team with an experienced Electrical Estimator.

🔧 THE ROLE
As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate tenders across a range of commercial M&E projects.
You will work closely with the commercial, estimating and project teams to ensure tenders are delivered accurately, competitively and within agreed deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing detailed electrical tenders and estimates
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Producing accurate material and labour costs
- Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Supporting the wider estimating and pre-construction team
- Working on multi-million-pound commercial projects
- Ensuring tenders are completed accurately and within deadlines
- Contributing ideas and experience to help develop the estimating function
👷 ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background within commercial electrical contracting.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience working as an Electrical Estimator
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations
- Experience pricing and tendering projects
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Good understanding of labour, material and subcontractor costs
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
- A proactive approach and willingness to contribute to the growth of the department
