JOB ADVERT - DUCT MATE
Role: Duct Mate
Location: Hove Bus StationStart Date: Monday 6th July 2026
Duration: Ongoing
Rate: From £16.90 per hourWe are currently seeking an experienced Duct Mate to join an ongoing commercial installation project in Haywards Heath. The role will involve assisting duct fitters on-site with the installation of galvanized ductwork, supporting general installation duties, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently in line with site standards.
The successful candidate must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a site team in a fast-paced construction environment. Previous experience working with ductwork installation and on commercial sites is essential.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
07:30 - 16:00
30-minute lunch break
8-hour working daysRequirements:
- Valid Green CSCS
- Previous ductwork installation experience (galvanized systems)
- Full PPE
- Ability to work consistently and follow site instructions
Duties Include:
- Assisting duct fitters with installation of galvanized ductwork
- Handling and positioning materials on site
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Supporting general site installation activities as required
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
