Job description
Job Title: Duct Fitter
Location: Oxford
Pay Rate: £27 per hour
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Duration: 3 Weeks
Start Date: Immediate StartWe are currently seeking an experienced Duct Fitter to join our team for a short-term project based in Oxford. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work with a reputable contractor on a commercial installation.
Role Description:
You will be responsible for the installation of galvanised ductwork on a commercial site. The work will involve both horizontal and vertical ducting, and may include fitting to ceilings, walls, and within confined spaces, depending on site requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install galvanised ductwork in accordance with project specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and site plans
- Work efficiently and safely alongside other trades and site operatives
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within set deadlines
Requirements:
- Valid Blue CSCS Card (Skilled Worker level)
- Standard Hi-Vis and PPE
- Proven experience in duct fitting, particularly with galvanised materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health and safety on site
Additional Information:
- Immediate start available
- 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
- Opportunity to work with an established M&E subcontractor
- Site is centrally located in Oxford, easily accessible via public transport or car
- Client will pay parking
