JOB ADVERT
Role: Duct Fitter or Labourer
Location: Derby
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 4 MonthsWe are currently recruiting for experienced Duct Fitters and Labourers for an upcoming project in Derby. This is a short-term contract with consistent weekday hours and competitive rates.
Rates of Pay:
- Duct Fitter: £28.00 per hour
- Labourer: £16.90 per hour
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
07:30 - 16:00
Includes 30-minute lunch break
(8 working hours per day)Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (Blue CSCS with Ductwork Installation for Duct Fitters / Green CSCS for Labourers)
- Site Safety Plus certification (mandatory for both roles)
- PASMA certification (mandatory for both roles)
- Previous ductwork site experience preferred for fitters
- Ability to work as part of a site team and follow site safety procedures
Additional Requirements:
- Full PPE required
- Own tools required (where applicable)
- Experience working with galvanised ductwork
Duties Include:
- Installation of galvanised ductwork systems (Duct Fitters)
- Assisting skilled trades and general site support (Labourers)
- Maintaining safe working practices at all times
- Working efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Following instructions from site supervisors and managers
