Duct Fitter & Duct Mate - Leeds
Immediate Start | 1 Month ++ | Monday to Friday
Robert Hurst Ltd are currently looking for experienced Duct Fitters and Duct Mates to join a project in Leeds, with an ASAP start available.
This is a great opportunity for reliable, experienced ductwork professionals looking for a consistent weekday position, with the potential for the project to continue beyond the initial one-month period.
Position Details
Role: Duct Fitter & Duct Mate
Location: Leeds
Duration: 1 Month ++
Start Date: ASAP
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 07:30 - 16:00
Working Day: 8 hours
Break: 30-minute lunch break
Scope of Work: Galvanized ductworkPay Rates
- Duct Fitter: £27.00 per hour
- Duct Mate: £17.00 per hour
Required Cards & Qualifications
Duct Fitter
Candidates must hold:
- Blue CSCS Card
- Ductwork Installation must be listed on the back of the card
- Relevant experience working as a Duct Fitter
- Experience installing galvanized ductwork
- Ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a site team
Duct Mate
Candidates must hold:
- Green CSCS Card
- Previous experience assisting with ductwork installation is preferred
- Experience working with or around galvanized ductwork
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
The Work
The successful candidates will be working on a commercial project in Leeds, carrying out installation and associated works involving galvanized ductwork.
Duct Fitters will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, following drawings and site instructions and ensuring ductwork is installed correctly and safely.
Duct Mates will support the duct fitting team with the preparation, handling and installation of ductwork and general duties as required on site.

- Able to work Monday to Friday
- Safety-conscious and professional
- Comfortable working as part of a busy site team
- Available to start ASAP
Longer-term work may be available following the initial 1-month period.
