Job description

Duct Fitter & Duct Mate Required - Burnham-on-Crouch

Start Date: Monday 24th August 2026
Duration: A few weeks
Location: Burnham-on-Crouch

We are currently looking for experienced Duct Fitters and Duct Mates to join a project in Burnham-on-Crouch, starting Monday 24th August 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking operatives looking for consistent work over the coming weeks.

Roles & Rates

Duct Fitter - £30.00 per hour

• Experienced duct fitter required.
• Must be confident working with galvanized ductwork.
• Able to work efficiently and safely as part of a site team.
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic required.

Duct Mate - £17.00 per hour

• Previous experience assisting duct fitters preferred.
• Duties will include supporting the fitting team, handling materials and assisting with the installation of galvanized ductwork.
• Must be reliable, hardworking and willing to work as part of a team.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
07:30 - 16:00
30-minute lunch break
8-hour working days

Requirements

All applicants must have:

• Green CSCS Card
• Full PPE
• 2 company references
• Relevant experience for the position being applied for
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Ability to work safely and professionally on site

Scope of Work

The project involves the installation and fitting of galvanized ductwork. Candidates should be comfortable working with ductwork and following site instructions and health & safety requirements.
