Job description
Job Title: Duct Fitter & Duct Mate (1 Pair)
Location: Chippenham
Duration: 6+ Months
Working Hours: 8-Hour Days
Start Date: Immediate StartWe are currently seeking an experienced Duct Fitter and Duct Mate pair for a long-term project based in Chippenham. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled team to join a well-established M&E contractor on a large-scale commercial project.
Role Details:
- Position: Duct Fitter & Duct Mate (Working as a Pair)
- Scope of Works: Installation of galvanised ductwork systems
- Duration: Minimum 6 months with potential for extension
- Hours: 8 hours per day (Monday to Friday)
- Start: ASAP / Immediate
Rates:
- Duct Fitter: £28.00 per hour
- Duct Mate: £16.50 per hour
Requirements:
Duct Fitter:
- Valid Blue or Gold CSCS Card
- IPAF qualification (essential)
- Proven experience in galvanised ductwork installations
- Ability to work from drawings and supervise the duct mate as needed
Duct Mate:
- Valid Green CSCS Card
- Previous experience assisting in ductwork installations
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
