Job Title: Ductwork Fitter & Mate (Duct Pair)
Location: Abingdon
Start Date: 10th of November 2025
Duration: 2 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour days
Rate: £28/h (fitter) £16.25/h (mate)Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Ductwork Fitter and Mate (Duct Pair) for a commercial project in Abingdon. The role involves the installation of galvanised (tin) ductwork, including both rectangular and spiral systems. Ideal for a consistent team capable of delivering high-quality work from the outset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install galvanised ductwork systems to specification
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work efficiently as a team to meet project deadlines
Requirements
Fitter:
- Valid Blue CSCS Card
- IPAF (preferred)
- Own tools
- Full PPE
- Experience with rectangular and spiral ductwork
- Ability to lead and work efficiently with a mate
Mate:
- Valid Green CSCS Card
- Basic hand tools (preferred)
- Full PPE
- Previous experience assisting with ductwork (preferred)
