Rate: Competitive (Based on Experience)We are currently seeking an experienced Duct Fitter to join a residential development project in Southend-on-Sea. This is a 6-month+ contract with potential for extension based on performance and project progression.
You will be responsible for the installation of ducted air systems within newly built residential apartment blocks, focusing on both 1st and 2nd fix ductwork. The role requires a solid understanding of plastic ductwork systems (such as Domus, Polypipe, or similar).
Key Duties:Requirements:
Installation of plastic ductwork systems in accordance with technical drawings and specifications
Fitting ventilation systems within risers, corridors, and apartments
Coordinating with supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth workflow
Ensuring all work meets health and safety and building regulation standards
Maintaining site cleanliness and tool safety
Valid Blue CSCS Card (Skilled Worker)
Proven experience in plastic ductwork installation
Own tools and PPE
Ability to read and interpret ductwork drawings and plans
Strong work ethic and reliability
