Job description

Job Title: Duct Fitter
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Rate: £28.00 per hour (Fitter), £16.25 per hour (Mate)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Long-term for the right candidate
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00 (8-hour days)
Overtime: Paid at standard hourly rate

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable duct fitter for a long-term commercial project based in Welwyn Garden City.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Installation of galvanised ductwork to a high standard
• Working closely with site teams to ensure efficient and safe completion of works
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment on-site

Requirements:

• Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card (essential)
• IPAF (preferred but not essential)
• Proven experience in duct fitting, particularly with galvanised systems
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Own tools and PPE
