Job description
Job Title: Ductwork Fitter & Mate (Duct Pair)
Location: Exeter
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour daysRates:
- Fitter: £27.50 per hour
- Mate: £16.50 per hour
Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Ductwork Fitter and Mate (Duct Pair) for a 6-month project in Exeter, working on a mix of a care home and residential apartments. The work will involve the installation of plastic ductwork, so prior experience with this material is preferred.Key Responsibilities:
- Install plastic ductwork systems as per site specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety
- Work effectively as a pair to meet project milestones
Requirements
Fitter:
- Valid Blue CSCS Card
- Own tools
- Full PPE
- Experience working with plastic duct systems
- Ability to lead and coordinate with a mate
Mate:
- Valid Green CSCS Card
- Basic hand tools (preferred)
- Full PPE
- Previous experience assisting with ductwork (preferred)
