CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGER - RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT

Location: Alton, Hampshire
Start Date: To Be Confirmed
Duration: 10-12 Months
Rate: Competitive - Dependent on Experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:00
Working Day: 8 hours per day, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Project: Residential Development - Bungalows

Requirements: SMSTS, First Aid at Work, CSCS Card for the role, Temporary Works Coordinator or Temporary Works Supervisor Training, Fire Marshall Training, Asbestos Awareness Training, UK Driving Licence.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Construction Site Manager to join a residential development project in Alton, overseeing the construction of a bungalow development.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Construction Site Manager with strong residential construction experience who is confident managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades, maintaining high standards of health and safety, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the project, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project management team to ensure the development progresses in line with programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of the site.
  • Ensure all construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the agreed programme.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades, labour, and site activities.
  • Monitor progress and ensure works are completed to the required programme and quality standards.
  • Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, environmental, and site compliance requirements.
  • Conduct and oversee site inductions, briefings, toolbox talks, and regular site inspections.
  • Ensure RAMS and relevant site documentation are implemented and adhered to.
  • Coordinate deliveries, materials
