Business Development Manager
Sheffield
£55,000 plus bonus
Business Development manager required for a South Yorkshire main contractor, a renowned company in the construction industry working on several frameworks.
Key Benefits
- Competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
- Car allowance circa £5,000
- 30 days of annual leave (including bank holidays)
- Pension scheme (3% employer contribution after qualifying period)
- 8-5 working with a 4pm Friday finish
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue opportunities within the construction sector
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, architects and the supply chain
- Maximise opportunities on frameworks
- Monitor tenders, PQQs and tenders' submissions
- Attend client meetings, site visits and networking events
- Prepare and present presentations when needed
- Liaise with the estimating / commercial team to maximise and win work

Required Knowledge & Experience
- Previous experience in construction business development
- Preferably within the commercial construction sectors such as Hospitals, schools etc
- Full UK driving license.
