Job description
We are seeking a Welder Fabricator for a 2-month, workshop-based contract in Grays, Essex. The role involves welding and fabricating structural steel components within a busy fabrication environment.
Start Date: Immediate
Rate: £22.00 per hour
Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (9.5 hours paid per day)
Contract: 2 MonthsDuties:
- Welding and fabricating structural steel members in a workshop environment.
- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings to do accurate assemblies.
- Utilizing standard workshop equipment and fabrication hand tools safely.
- Ensuring all structural welds meet quality, safety, and project standards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
Requirements:
- Proven workshop experience as a Welder Fabricator working with structural steel.
- Must have own standard welding tools, welding PPE, and a welding mask.
- Reliable, hard-working, and comfortable with a 6:00 AM start.
- Available to start immediately and commit to the full 2-month contract duration.
- No specific site tickets are required for this workshop position.
- Parking: Free onsite parking is available at the facility (Star Industrial Estate).
