Our client is seeking a skilled Plasterer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in plastering and related trades, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and the ability to work with different materials. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople on-site.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering and construction.
• A valid driver's licence - a company van will be provided for work use only.
• Knowledge of bricklaying and masonry techniques is advantageous.
• Basic carpentry skills for effective collaboration with other trades.
• Familiarity with roofing processes for certain projects.
• Willingness to learn welding skills, though prior experience is not essential.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
• Preparing surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and priming as necessary.
• Collaborating with bricklayers and masons to ensure proper integration of plaster with other building materials.
• Conducting repairs on existing plasterwork, including patching and re-finishing damaged areas.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
