Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Industrial Projects
Location: Glasgow & Central Belt of ScotlandStart Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temp to Perm (Ongoing Assignment)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour days
Pay Rate: Competitive - Based on ExperienceWe are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team working on a variety of industrial projects across Glasgow and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking for stable, ongoing work with the potential to go permanent.
You'll be involved in a broad range of maintenance, servicing, and installation tasks across different industrial sites. Projects are primarily located around the Central Belt, with occasional travel and fully covered lodging for work further afield.
Requirements:
To considered for this role, you will need:
- Blue or Gold CSCS card (essential)
- IPAF (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to perform:
- Testing and inspections
- Belt changing and pulley alignment
- Oil changes
- Pneumatic pipework and valve maintenance
- Fan systems (belt drive & direct drive)
- Coupling & driven system repairs
- Plant preventative maintenance
