Job description
We are seeking an experienced Cladding CAD Draughtsman to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers a flexible working arrangement with a mix of office and home working.
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus bonus and overtime opportunities
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, with flexible start and finish times
Working Arrangement: Hybrid, typically 3 days office based and 2 days working from home
Office Location: Norfolk
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing electronic CAD drawings for approval, construction, as-built, and O&M documentation
- Preparing material take-offs and ordering materials related to project works
- Attending design and progress meetings as required
- Providing drawing office support including responding to site queries and assisting site teams
- Carrying out general drawing office duties to support ongoing projects
- Undertaking site surveys when required, although this is expected to be minimal
Requirements:
- Proven experience producing CAD drawings within a cladding or related construction environment
- Competent using AutoCAD for construction and fabrication drawings
- Ability to produce accurate drawings for approval, construction, and as-built stages
- Experience preparing material take-offs and supporting material ordering
- Comfortable liaising with site teams and responding to technical queries
- Ability to manage workload effectively and meet project deadlines
