Job description
Trojan Trades are recruiting for a General Maintenance Operative to join a well-established facilities and building services team in Leeds. This is a great opportunity for someone with a broad range of maintenance skills looking for a stable, long-term role.
The Role:
- Carrying out day-to-day building maintenance across commercial and residential sites.
- Basic repairs including joinery, plumbing, painting, plastering, and general fabric maintenance.
- Assisting with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Responding to reactive maintenance issues.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a maintenance role (commercial or residential).
- Multi-skilled across trades such as joinery, plumbing, painting, or plastering.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
- Health & Safety awareness.
